DESCRIPTION
Paracetamol Suppositorie are suppositorie containing Paracetamol.
Paracetamol Suppositorie are creamy white to faint yellow suppositories.
Paracetamol, BP is a Analgesic, antipyretic agent having the chemical name N-(4-Hydroxyphenyl)acetamide.
Indications:
For the relief of mild to moderate pain and fever.
Pharmacological Action
Antipyretic or antipyretic and anti-inflammatory agents.
Storage:
Store below 25ºC in a dry place.
Protect from heat& light.
Keep out of the reach of children.
To be sold on the prescription of a registered medical practitioner only.
Packing:
Suppositories 300mg: A box of 2 blisters of 10 suppositories.
For children with fever caused by common cold or influenza, and for mild to moderate pain such as headache, joint pain, migraine, toothache, muscular pain, neuralgia.
Usage
Rectal administration.
For children aged 1-6 years, one pill at a time is inserted into the anus. If continuous fever or pain, repeat the drug once every 4-6 hours, no more than 4 pills within 24 hours.
Drug interaction
1. Long-term use of barbiturates or spasmodic drugs (such as belladonna) can cause liver damage in patients.
2. This product is used with chloramphenicol to enhance the toxicity of the latter.
3. If drug interactions may occur when used in conjunction with other drugs, consult your physician or pharmacist for details.
Pharmacological effects
This product can inhibit the synthesis of prostaglandin and has antipyretic and analgesic effects.

Adverse reactions
Occasional rash, urticaria, drug fever and granulocytopenia.
Long-term use of large amounts of drugs can lead to abnormal liver and kidney function.
Drug taboos
Serious liver and kidney function is not allowed.
Matters needing attention
1. This product is a symptomatic treatment, used for relieving fever for no more than 3 days and for relieving pain for no more than 5 days. If the symptoms are not relieved, please consult a physician or pharmacist.
Children under the age of 2.1 should be under the guidance of a physician.
3. Use with caution for people who are allergic to aspirin.
4. Do not take other medicines containing antipyretic and analgesic drugs (such as some compound antipatulin) at the same time.
5. Use with caution in patients with liver and kidney insufficiency.
6. Do not drink alcohol or alcoholic beverages during the use of this product.
7. People who are allergic to this product should not use it, and those who are allergic should use it with caution.
