Dosage

1. Acute simple lower urinary tract infections caused by Escherichia coli, Klebsiella pneumoniae and Proteus mirabilis 400mg once, twice a day, and the course of treatment is 3 days.
2. The dosage for simple urinary tract infections caused by other pathogenic bacteria is the same as above, and the course of treatment is 7-10 days.
3. The dose for complicated urinary tract infections is the same as above, and the course of treatment is 10-21 days.
4. Simple gonococcal urethritis: 800-1200 mg per dose.

Adverse reactions

Precautions

3. Crystaluria may occur when the product is used in large doses or when the urine pH is above 7. In order to avoid the occurrence of crystaluria, it is advisable to drink more water and maintain a 24-hour urine output above 1200ml.
4. For patients with impaired renal function, the dosage should be adjusted according to renal function.
5. Moderate and severe photosensitivity reactions can occur when using fluoroquinolone drugs. Excessive exposure to sunlight should be avoided when using this product. If photosensitivity reactions occur, the drug should be discontinued.
6. Since Escherichia coli is more resistant to norfloxacin, urine samples should be collected for culture before administration, and the medication should be adjusted according to the results of bacterial susceptibility.
7. Quinolones, including this product, can aggravate the symptoms of myasthenia gravis, and life-threatening respiratory muscle weakness. Patients with myasthenia gravis should be particularly cautious when using quinolones including this product.
